Equity Funds

BDRs (Brazilian Depositary Receipts)
BDRs are certificates that represent shares in foreign companies and are traded on the B3. They allow Brazilian investors to access companies such as Apple, Amazon and Microsoft without having to open an account with an international brokerage firm.
Options
Options are derivative contracts that grant an investor the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell an asset at a predetermined price on a future date. They are widely used for hedging or leverage strategies and are divided into call options and put options.
Futures Contracts
Futures contracts are standardized agreements to buy or sell assets on a future date at a price set in the present. Used both for protection (hedging) and to seek profits, the main contracts traded on B3 include the mini index (WIN), based on the Ibovespa, and the mini dollar (WDO), which tracks the variation of the US currency.
